11 Storeys of Pain

Okay, it is 12:35pm and I am tired and sweating while typing this, you see I just got back from the Swan River Health Center where I was doing the stairs. Yeah, I know, it is only 2 storeys, but what I do is I go up and come back down. great place to do that!!

So my laps go like this:

1) 40 seconds
2) 45 seconds
3) 50 seconds
4) 52 seconds
5) 53 seconds
6) 51 seconds
7) 55 seconds
8) 57 seconds
9) 1 minute 14 seconds
10) 1 minute 18 seconds
11) 1 minute 19 seconds
Total time: 10 minutes 35 seconds

Most of me is okay, my knees though do not like it. They will have to deal with it. I am going to push through. I will now head off to do my stretching. My goal for the stairs by the way is 30 stairs in 30 minutes, and work better from there - but I want to reach that Goal first.

Restart Again...

Okay - so I have started doing this now numerous times. this is it though - we have momentum and I can feel something starting that will last. This time I have started right and am basically just overweight!

I have checked with my doctor and he has cleared me to lose weight and I am allowed to push myself. So I will use every means at my disposal to go from fat to FIT!!! I will be trying everything under the sun and some other stuff. From walking, to stairs, to martial arts and workout videos.

Halfingme will be a blog dedicated to my efforts going from just under 500lbs to between 250 to 300lbs. I want to be able to dance again, to run again and enjoy life a little more!! Please come join me on that adventure. Will I be perfect, NO!!! You are here for reality and emotion - to work through things and what it feels like to have to push through the next barrier!!
